Economic hope seen in North Las Vegas master-planned community

Eight years, two bankruptcies and one recession later, plans to break ground on the 2,600-acre community near Aliante Parkway and the Las Vegas Beltway are alive and well, if heavily revised.

Developers moving forward on huge North Las Vegas master plan community

Developers planning to build 15,000 homes in North Las Vegas told the city council today they hope to have shovels in the ground before the end of the year on one of the largest housing developments to come to Southern Nevada since the recession.
